DISH is Hiring a Product Designer I Near Denver, CO
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to design and implement experiments and features aimed at driving business growth and improving user satisfaction
- Leverage product analytics to identify opportunities for experimentation, focusing on user acquisition and engagement
- Create multiple design solutions, from initial sketches to high-fidelity prototypes, ensuring alignment with target audience preferences and project requirements
- Integrate user research and A/B testing data to inform design decisions and optimize user experience
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and facilitate discussions, ensuring alignment with product goals
- Work closely with Engineering to provide UX specifications and assets for high-quality delivery of experiences to customers
- Contribute to the development of style guides and design systems
- Collaborate with senior designers to enhance skills and advocate for user-centric design practices within the organization
- Conduct basic qualitative research exercises and synthesize findings to drive design improvements
- Participate in usability testing sessions and gather user feedback for iterative design enhancements
- Create and maintain design documentation, including specifications and design files
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Interaction Design, or related field
- 2-4 years of product design experience, preferably in growth-focused environment
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Strong skills in wireframing, prototyping, and conducting user testing and research
- Basic knowledge of UI design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory
- An eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find creative design solutions
- Experience in responsive web design
- Effective communication skills across organizational functions and levels
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on solving user problems
- Up-to-date knowledge of design trends and UX best practices
